Job Vacancy Transport Planner

As a Transport Planner, you play a crucial role in the optimal deployment of our people and vehicles. Thanks to you, our quality and reliability remain at the highest level. You are the one who ensures that every logistics assignment is successfully completed!
Together with the other transport planners, you are responsible for efficiently planning all transports and managing our drivers. The goods we store for our international customers find their way across Europe. We work with multiple schedules and outsource transport assignments to trusted partners. As a team of three planners, you coordinate the planning. The groupage consists mainly of general cargo in both partial shipments (LTL) and full truckloads (FTL).
You are the link between the drivers, the internal organization, and the customer. Naturally, you monitor the transports, quickly adapt when necessary to solve problems, and minimize waiting times. You manage the drivers and ensure clear and pleasant cooperation with them.
You don’t shy away from challenges; you always find a solution to meet customer agreements and optimize the use of our fleet.
Who are you?
- You enjoy problem-solving and thinking in solutions;
- You have a positive attitude and like to take initiative;
- You have work experience in logistics or as a transport planner and an MBO+ level of education and thinking;
- You like to contribute to the development and improvement of the department;
- You are a flexible team player with an analytical mindset;
- You communicate easily with drivers, customers, and colleagues;
- You have a good command of English and German.
